Damascus Library

Great spot for the homeless. Warm and cool as needed for comfort. The free access to computers, gives this segment of our community an opportunity to communicate with doctors (virtual visits are able to replace 68% of actual attended visits), apply for their county and state food, rental assistance and welfare stipends and keep in touch with family.

I wanted to thank Laura for helping today with Libby. She made it seem so effortless and quick! She was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and extremely polite to a phone customer as well. Thank you Laura!

TonightI visited this old library... I remember growing up up here in the small town of Damascus, MD. Tonight was an odd empression I received while I was in the quiet...... study room... After I came in within an hour ... A woman staffer was. looking for a dog... They looked at me stating that... I have no dog... I replied... They left .. So...Time to leave.. the front desk clerk was yelling at 👎me about a dog in the room.... No there wasn't... I left with no dog.... Strange behavior for such a small town atmosphere... Maybe they were hungry... Awaiting to get home for dinner. 🆘🤨
