DALAT PHO RESTAURANT

I stopped in on a Tuesday around noon after reading some good comments about the place in a local FB group. I speak Vietnamese and when I spoke to the owner in Vietnamese, she was pleased and we had a nice chat. I ordered the fried spring rolls (Cha Gio) and an order of Grilled Pork Noddle Bowl (Bun Thit Nuong, Heo). Both were delicious and very authentic in their flavor profiles and ingredients used. This was not a westernized version of Vietnamese food. The spring rolls were loaded with pork and crab and came with an assortment of herbs. Many places will only give you basil, not here. Such sweet people! I ordered the: Phở Đặc Biệt: More on the lighter side in terms of the flavor of the broth. I did however enjoy that the noodles were cooked perfectly with a little bit of chew and appreciated the abundance of meat! Gà Chiên Nước Mắm (chicken wings): These were perfectly fried! Had such a nice crisp on the outside and still remained juicy. The sauce coating was nicely balanced and not over-salted, but still bursting with umami flavors from the fish sauce. Vietnamese coffee: definitely more palatable for the demographic, but still a strong coffee and sweet and condensed milk presence. As a Viet person, I would like it a little stronger. Dalat Pho is hands down one of the best pho spots around. The broth is rich on the hu tieu noodle soup. You can taste the pork bones in it. The pho is very good and their pho noodles had a nice chewy texture to it. It was really good. The Bun cha was yummy as well! Huge portions! The restaurant itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both a quick meal or a relaxed sit down. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. If you’re craving authentic, delicious Vietnamese food, Dalat Pho is somewhere you should go. I’ll definitely be coming back again. I even ordered Togo!!

Everything is pretty good. Hard to find a good bun cha ha noi in Denver and the bun cha here is really good. They have a karaoke setup but probably for late night party.

One of the only pho places in the area open late. Fantastic service and atmosphere, great decorations and beautiful place. The food was outstanding, delicious and I completely emptied my plate. A little on the pricey side but it’s definitely worth it!!
