My old reviews some got deleted. Veg thali is really good, I’ve been here quite a few times now. Just an observation — the food can be a little more balanced. The food is good, but too much of anything (like spice) can still be a downside. People won’t eat food either when it’s not good, or when it’s good but something is too much — like too oily or too spicy. But overall, the flavors are good and just need a little balancing.

Yesterday I had a great experience at Dakshinam. We ordered chicken drumsticks and the mutton biryani was aromatic, tender, and richly flavorful. An excellent dining experience overall delicious food, great hospitality, and definitely worth visiting again.

Wow! This place really knows how to serve a full-on feast. The chicken dum biryani is incredible—fragrant, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. But don’t stop there! The veg and non-veg thalis are a meal in themselves, loaded with flavorful curries, fresh sides, and just the right spice balance. Whether you’re a biryani lover or a thali fan, this place has something to make your taste buds dance. Definitely one of the best spots in Dallas for a hearty, satisfying meal!

Excellent food, lovely service, and relaxed atmosphere. Our group had ordered the golden fried prawns, Mutton ghee roast pulao, Vijayawada Spl Chicken Biryani. DELICIOUS. I especially recommend the Shrimp appetizer. We will definitely be back!

Had a great experience here. The chicken dum biryani was excellent—flavorful and well-cooked, easily one of the better ones in Dallas. The veg and non-veg thalis are also worth trying, with a good variety of dishes and generous portions.
