Stayed with dogs last night. Clean room with space. Full size refrigerator in room and good area to walk dogs behind hotel. Easy parking in front of room. Hunters in rooms around us and friendly discussion on local hunting in parking lot. Would stay here again.

I should’ve read the most recent reviews; I saw 4 stars on Google, price was good, so I thought we would be in the clear. We booked a double bed room online thru Expedia, and the receptionist who spoke very broken English kept telling me about a king room for extra, which I had to politely decline several times (seems like they may have accidentally given my room away). I told her we already booked a double for a certain price, and that’s what we wanted. Was kinda appalled that they would try to upcharge me because they didn’t keep my room for me. At any rate, was led to the room and the floor was filthy. I understand stains, but there were fingernail clippings next to the nightstand and a pile of sand(?) or something next to the fridge. Safe feeling, quiet area, nice check-in lady, Not the cleanest, but no bugs (except a fly or two) and sheets were clean. (Carpet was dirty, stuff is old, a couple of the lights didn't work.) Full sized fridge/freezer, and a microwave that needs the button jiggled to function. No deadbolt or chain on door - only the turn-lock on the doorknob. We (1 adult, 2 kids) were charged 69.99+tax in early July 2025, then over a week later stayed again and paid 79+tax (9.5%) - didn't notice the price was more or would have asked about it. Would stay again if there isn't a nicer option in the general area for a lower price.

My mom and I needed a room for the night. We went to the room after paying, and my mom could not stay because of a mold-like smell. Instead of refunding my charge, the person covering for the owner charged me twice for the same room. It has been a nightmare with my financial institution. Update: even though we DID NOT STAY THERE, this shady motel is insisting on being paid and fighting tooth and nail. It is a disreputable institution. ANOTHER UPDATE: Situation finally resolved in my favor. Definitely not worth the hassle, though.

Dirty floor, microwave broken, tv didn't work, shower was cold 1 sec.warm 1 second keep going back and forth. Lights fluttery like a short someware. No way to lock door. No Refund 😡😡☹️
