Built in 1969 and still going! Wonderful Hi-Boy Burger. Excellent cook and staff!

We stopped into this place just to try some place we hadn’t been before after a hike. It’s a very simple place with basic foods, but they are delicious. I had chicken strips and crinkle cut fries. I am not a crinkle cut girl but these fries were perfect and the ranch that was served was spectacular in my opinion. When we first arrived we requested to eat outside but it quickly became super windy and we ended up inside. My only complaint was that since we requested to sit at the tables outside our food was delivered in all to go packaging. Packaging was fine, but sitting inside we were never offered refills on our drinks as the other patrons were. Not a big issue at all. We definitely want to go back and try breakfast. Update: We came back down to AR for a hike and made sure to stop in ear

The food was great and the servers were very nice. Just as expected when we saw it, nice juicy burger with peanut butter on it. Love some peanut butter burgers. They had good desserts also.

I wanted to love this classic-looking drive-in (which also contains a sit-down "Big Boy"-inspired restaurant) but only liked it. The double "Hi-Boy" burger, touted as the best in the county, was good but not great. It came in a nice brioche bun and had high-quality toppings but was let down by the meat patties, which were kind of bland and boring; "smash-burger" style patties would improve it. I also ordered a chocolate malt, and it was also good but nothing special (better than fast-food chains, not as good as the best drive-ins).

I was base my customer service reviews based on how the establishment treats the youngest and oldest patrons. The front of house staff treated our littles with welcoming arms and made it a comfortable experience for them. I watched as they interacted with other customers, accommodating a space for a gentlemen to stow his cane, while he dined. We didn't have a long wait for food. Which was hot and fresh when it came out. Make sure you save room for dessert!
