Dairy Queen (Treat)(Shanadoah Plaza)

I ordered an ice cream cake from this Dairy Queen for my daughter’s birthday and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The owner, Chris, wrote a custom “Happy Birthday” message on the cake, but later that evening I noticed the colored icing had bled across the cake and ruined the appearance. It looked messy and poorly made — not something you would want to present at a child’s birthday celebration. I brought the cake back to the store as soon as it opened the next morning to give them the opportunity to make it right. Unfortunately, Chris was unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude throughout the interaction. He refused to offer a refund, replacement, or any attempt to correct the issue despite the clear quality problem. Customer service matters just as much as the product, and

It was so so nice!! The cookiedough blizzard tasted super good, and it was the perfect night snack. Chris welcomed us with a bright energy and smile! When he saw us standing outside eating our ice cream he went out of his way to get us chairs! It was such a nice experience overall. Definitely coming back!

Customer service was great. Hot dog was horrible. I got a shriveled piece of meat with a nasty after taste. It was crunchy like a chip and smaller than the tough bun it was in. Unless it's ice cream, I'm not eating anything else from DQ.

Probably the best Dairy Queen set up I’ve been to in my life. Different than most. Blizzards are the same but set up is cool.

Ice cream was good. Staff were friendly. Most of the store seemed clean except for the floors. They could use a lot of cleaning. Like boiling hot water and scrubbing. Could use some music too.
