Dairy Queen (TREAT ONLY)

Dairy Queen in Salisbury MA is a classic seasonal stop for soft serve ice cream, and it has been a favorite local place to visit for years. They open in early April and close at the end of October, and each season the lines show how popular this spot is with families, beachgoers, and locals looking for a quick ice cream treat. They have definitely updated their payment options, which is a huge improvement from the old cash-only days. Most people do not carry cash anymore, so being able to pay with a card makes the experience much easier. My go to treat here is the vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. They get it right every time. Fast service, plenty of parking, easy road access. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were out of our first choice of blizzard flavor. They are closing for the season soon and we understand running down inventory. The window worker was great, our blizzards were as expected, and if we are in the area again we would be happy to stop back.

Took a little trip up North and found ourselves at DQ! Finally got the hot fudge sundae I've been waiting months for. Happy Spring!

I got a large twist in a cup with crunch coat. And it was by far the most disappointing ice cream I think I have ever had. The size of it would have passed for a small, maybe medium, but it was definitely not a large and I even asked the server, it was a large and they said yes.
