Dairy Queen (Treat)

We recently visited this Dairy Queen location and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered. What started as a simple complaint about a wrong order quickly turned into a complete display of unprofessionalism from the manager on duty. When my order was incorrectly filled by an employee, I approached the manager to address the issue — which is a completely reasonable thing to do. Instead of handling the situation with basic courtesy and professionalism, she was dismissive and rude from the very start. No apology, no attempt to correct the mistake, and absolutely no effort to make things right. To make matters worse, when we requested a refund for the incorrect order we were charged for, it was flatly refused. We paid for something we did not receive, and the manager

Nice, welcoming staff. I ordered a medium chocolate cone dipped in chocolate and they did a great job. This location fills the cone with ice cream from the bottom up as you can see by my pictures. I will be back.

DO NOT ORDER CAKES ONLINE. I genuinely appreciate this Dairy Queen. They saved my butt this weekend. I ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday to pick up at this location on Saturday. I got an email confirmation with an order number and pick up time. I went to this Dairy Queen to pick up the cake, but they didn’t have the order. They checked around, but couldn’t find any record of the order. They had the same flavor of cake in the freezer and they offered to personalize it for us. I cannot thank these guys enough. The problem was totally not their fault, but they solved the problem. I’m very appreciative of their help, but next time I’ll order an ice cream cake in person.

Inside dining and ordering is practically impossible. I feel for the employees and think they must have hearing issues with all the noise from the Blizzard machines. It was impossible to order without shouting. Order was placed for three minis and one small. We got four minis. Had to ask for the small to be remade. One of the minis was about an inch short. Just not what I remember DQ being in the past. Very sad that it was as bad an experience as it was. For your employees, please consider making it a better working environment at least in terms of the noise. They’re going to be deaf or have tinnitus in less than six months with that noise!!

The drive thru is tight, but they are one of the only DQs around that has chocolate!! Nice! Been going here since I was 6 years old and still love it.
