Dairy Queen (Treat)

I went on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was very clean. Angel and Jules were friendly and welcoming, helping me with my transaction. Fantastic employees. Something was going on with my connection to the app but they made sure I got my points. Customer service was efficient and fast, my blizzards came out quickly and portions were very nice.

I don’t expect much from DQ these days…and with this low bar, I’m still left disappointed. “Customer service” worker is on the phone and she then disappears for a few minutes while we are at the counter waiting to order. There is no one in the facility other than my husband and I at this point. We notice there’s a tip jar for “men” and “women” prompting the question of “Who tips better?” which is a battle for another day. Now to top it all off, the one item I wanted, and mind you it is advertised in at least two places inside the facility, was “not available” at that time. Bare minimum indeed.

No fries served at this location. Not very organized when there are lots of customers. We weren't given our recess blizzard until we asked for it 20 minutes later. Banana split was good.

Our kids LOVE to get dairy treats here and we enjoy bringing them in when they get good grades for a treat. Excellent ice cream cakes are ready to go at any time, which are always yummy. Sometimes the service is on the slow side, the tables need cleaning, and also one of my restaurant pet peeves - there is no public restroom. All in all we will continue to stop in for frozen treats but we don't eat in as it is not the cleanest store.
