Dairy Queen of Godley

During the summer I was working in town and ate there every day breakfast and lunch. Even though its just a food chain the manager and her employees go above and beyond with customer service. The restaurant is always clean ( bathrooms included ) , food fresh and delicious, and everyone is super caring and friendly. The team that is there is the best that i've ever seen, and can't give enough kudos for them. Its always a pleasure coming and going from this location. I also had the best burger this morning thanks for cooking it for me and how picture perfect it was.

They forgot my fries AND GAVE ME A CORN DOG WITH A BURNT HOLE IN IT ( it was horrible customer service a girl name Katie who works there was being weird and mean and not caring that she completely forgot my damn fries ? )

Its no wonder this place is struggling. My daughter spilled gravy on herself and scalded her skin (she's 3 stuff happens) but I called up there and asked Jacob (one of the managers, apparently) if he could stick a thermometer in the gravy to make sure it wasn't over temp and also so I would know if I needed to take my little one to the hospital. He proceeded to tell me and I quote "of course it's hot. It's gravy. That's why it's in Styrofoam." And laughed. Well thanks Captain Obvious I had no idea gravy was hot. Meanwhile my 3 year old is screaming in pain and you're making snide remarks and laughing while I'm trying to figure out if she needs a hospital. If he doesn't know how to speak to people they need to hide him in the back. He shouldn't be working customer service. I'll pray for him

The wait time is insane every time. Food is extremely subpar even for fast food. And that's if they even get your order correct. I'm convinced the only reason they are still in business is because there is no competition in Godley.

I have a one star review as I could not see how to leave a zero star review. Burgers were cold as room temp. Fries were old and soggy when ordered as fresh well done. I called and talked to the Manager regarding our concerns. I was informed that burgers are “supposed” to be held in a warmer at a certain temp. Apparently, this is not controlled as required. My wife and I will drive to Cleburne which is 10 miles away to ensure getting fresh hot meals. Food safety is paramount.
