Spent 8 minutes in line on a Wednesday evening before giving up. There were at least 3 people working behind the counter, but 2 were taking orders AND then making their own orders. Big orders, all I wanted was a plain cone. So didn't get anything this time. Decent ice cream products last time I was in over 3 years ago.

Ordered hamburgers. Was shocked at how they looked. The pickles themselves were actually thicker than the hamburger patty!! It was comically thin- I’ve never seen anything like it. Strawberry shake was pure ice cream at the top, not mixed at all. Only a little strawberry when I got to the bottom of the cup.

Ok last time I checked, isn’t the law to wear gloves when touching ready to eat food. I watched the person in the kitchen putting a hamburger together bare hand. Also why would you ask for a tip when paying. A tip is not just given because it’s something earned. I’m baffled how this place can have a 4.3 star.

Service was decent food was gross, Chicken strips were burnt to a crisp and weren’t edible. It also was 24$ for the chicken and two ice creams and we ended up just throwing the chicken away. Wouldn’t eat there again.

One of two great DQs in the greater Iowa City area. The other one is the DQ on Riverside Drive in Iowa City. Great mix, great employees and always clean. The Coralville DQ and the DQ by the airport are usually understaffed, the mix lacks quality and tastes like rerun. The service is also slow. We never, ever buy the food at any DQ. Go to McDonald’s for hamburgers.
