Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Dairy Queen location. I called and ordered a cake a week in advance—plenty of notice, since they only require 24 hours to prepare and decorate a cake. I’ve ordered cakes here for my company many times before, never with any issues. This time, I spoke to someone on Monday to place the order. Then, on Friday, someone from the store called to confirm the decoration and color details I wanted. I gave them specific instructions, and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. Today, I arrived at 1:15 pm for my scheduled 1 pm pickup. I went through the drive-thru, expecting my cake to be ready. Zero stars if I could. This Dairy Queen is a pathetic, greasy dumpster fire and needs to be shut down before it drags the entire chain into the toilet with it. I walk in and the two genius employees up front are practically making out with their phones, I stand there like an idiot for a full minute, finally say “Hello?” and get a snotty little “Hold on” without either of them even glancing up. Classy.. When they finally decided I existed and got to order, the food was somehow worse than the attitude. Burgers? microwaved garbage, soggy buns, gray rubber patties that tasted like they died last week. Fries were ice-cold, hard, and stale enough to use as kindling. The store hours posted are wrong. It says that the driver thru is open until 11:00, but it's 10:03pm and the drive thru is closed. I just wasted 40 minutes of my Friday night driving out here because DQ can't be bothered to post accurate store hours. I knew it was going to be cutting it close for the regular store hours, because it closes at 10. But the drive thru hours posted online said 11:00, so I thought I had plenty of time to get here. Next time I'll just go to Culver's up the street. They're a lot closer, open later and have their store hours accurately listed on their Google page. Fix your store hours!

Drive thru employee had a hard time hearing my order. They saud it was because of the bluzzard machine making too much noise. I wanted to try 1 queso dipping sauce for my chicken strips as my sauce. We ordered 2 meals and received 4 queso sauces and was charged a $1.00 a piece, when I only wanted the 1 free sauce. Order was not read back to me.

Went through drive-thru (as the only car) around 4:45 pm asking if they accept the 85 cent blizzard coupon with the app, was told no. Called later to speak with another associate about the coupon and planned to come again later. Placed a mobile order to be picked up at 7:27 pm, was not ready for another 15 minutes after arriving. The most unprofessional business I've ever been to- Usher, ILOVEMAKONNEN and Soulja Boy songs playing loudly all at once. I can't make these things up.
