Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

6 employees on staff. One older gentlemen cooking all the food. 5 younger staff doing nothing. I understand they maybe can't cook, but they could get everything else ready (cheese, fixings, condiments, containers, wrappings) and be hospitable to those waiting. Owner could have had the older gentleman and one other employee on staff to maximize profits.

Generally when I go in for my own personal orders I have little issue but from a doordash point of view I'm very disappointed today. The cashier informed me on arrival the order was being worked on. 10min went by and no word on my order. It wasn't until someone asked where the doordash order was when the cashier stated she had not put it in, which meant a further delay. At the end of the day this affects my time and money for picking up other orders and affects the customer who placed the order. I'm hoping she was just having g a bad day but communication and follow through seemed far off from the norm.

Originally ordered a cheeseburger and large cheese curds , then they offered the combo for me since supposedly makes a better deal I take it even when I don’t need the drink , when the food comes I find out they give me a little tray with cheese curds because that’s the only size you can do in a combo ! But they never told me that at the moment of purchase, I ended up paying for another order of cheese curds spending more money of my original purchase and with a very bad taste of the poor customer service. It’s very very very sad see a small business next to the highway with 8 employees and nobody cares about proper training , knowledge of the menu, and customer service. DEFINITELY NEVER COMING BACK I spend 25 minutes there eating my food witnessed how they don’t care about sales.

On a hot day what's a great treat? We needed a stop on our road trip and this dairy queen was the perfect stop I had a salted caramel blizzard. Which we pretty much can't go wrong with any blizzard. Anyway I barely placed my order and it was ready

4-5 young employees standing at the front, all just talking and not doing anything. I ordered an ultimate blizzard and a chicken strip basket. It was the runniest blizzard I’ve ever had and there was no chocolate in the center. The place smelled dirty, one of the employees even made a comment about how it smelled like a “school lunch room”.
