Dairy Queen

Third time to visit this DQ since I moved into the area. It will be my last visit. The minute I walked in the door I saw 4 people waiting right inside the door. 2 more people waiting on the side of the counter where you order. After a few minutes standing in line I was told by a person that everyone had ordered and was waiting. I stepped up to order. After a few more minutes my order was taken at 6:53 PM. The store web site shows the store closes at 10:00 PM. I went to find a table and saw to my right that 1/2 of the dinning room had been closed off by placing chairs across the floor to block the entrance. The person behind the counter was friendly and patient with me as I ordered a blizzard and chicken strip basket (6pc). There were no problems with my order, the place looked clean, my food was hot and fresh, and the vibe in the restaurant was casual and fun.

I stopped by DQ for the first time in months today. I was pleasantly surprised. It's been cleaned up, the stinky open floor drain was covered and the lady taking orders was polite and friendly and dressed for work. They've got the new McDonald's beat!

I ordered my food and thought I had customized my burger so I went in and told the workers that I had gotten my order wrong. The cashier was polite and told me we ordered that and I asked her if she can make me a new one anyway. She told the cook what I wanted and he got aggravated and was making comments another worker was around him and said “ don’t make a burger correct” sarcastically. After this I fell very anxious and embarrassed. Do not mess up ur order or the workers will get angry idk what happened to “the customer is always right” but this was suck a bad experience for me.

Dairy Queen here in Clifton has become such a disappointment. I just left there ordered a large Coke float and a mini blizzard I have not taken a bite out of my mini blizzard I will post a picture and the large Coke float was skimpy as hell. The customer service really suck the young man at the window needs to find a different job if he can't provide service with a good attitude. I don't know his name but this is March 29th at 8:40 p.m. The manager didn't do much better. I am a local and embarrassed about this food this establishment serves. And I'm only giving a one star because I have to write something to be able to post my review.
