Absolutely love this place for Korean food. Every time we are in the area it’s our go to spot. The food tastes great we love taste and staff is always great and accommodating. 100% recommend it’s located on the second floor. Also it’s nice sitting by the window.

Ban chan are great. Kimchi not spicy and smells a little more garlic-ky. Dolsot bibimbap taste great, maybe half cooked egg would be better. Pork short ribs is amazing, in love with the sweetness not so overwelming but just melt in you mouth. I would come again for sure

I’m thrilled to have found this place. I’ve been a fan of Korean food, specifically, since ‘08. There used to be a place on Sansom Street called GIWA. It’s where I first had a taste of Daeji Bulgogi and a gochujang sauce. There’s a movie theater just a few blocks south and I wanted to have a dinner before seeing the new Predator flick. Google Maps brought me to Dae Bak after a quick Maps search for “Korean Food”. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. The guy that welcomed me and seated me was also my server. From the moment we walked in Mark greeted us with such warm hospitality. His smile was amazing. He served us amazing food. He even gave us two free sodas. He also recommended cheese on a specific dish, which turned out to be probably the best thing I ever put in my mouth. He also recommended the perfect spice level, which just got me feeling just right for the day. All in all, highly would recommend coming here.
