Daddy's Soul Food & Grille

Everything is soooo good! We will drive out of our way to eat here every time, and we'll definitely taking some home time share with family. If you want soul food, you won't be disappointed. Great place for a date, too.

I love, love, love to support black owned businesses but things most definitely need to do better if businesses want to succeed and flourish. I loved that there's a parking lot due to the fact that I dislike street parking especially on busy streets. Upon arrival we were more pleasantly greeted by the young lady, I believe her name was Jennifer, who was selling her dessert treats inside the restaurant than the actual restaurant staff. The gospel music that was being played was a nice vibe. As we were ordering our meals the young lady behind the counter seemed like she had an attitude problem or she just doesn't like her job, not sure what her issue was. This is a great place for some classic soul food. The service was amazing. The waitress went above and beyond. It was my nephews birthday and she got the staff to come over and sing happy birthday to him and gave him a FREE piece of cake. This is what a restaurant is all about. She made it a special moment just for him. On top of that the food was delicious. And I tried a little bit of everyone’s plate From a po boy cod sandwich BLT to BBQ ribs. Black eyed peas made with bacon yams and French fries. This was a great place to go. Also you can dine in or order to go. Great place for the hungry person on the go. All of it delicious! Had the baked chicken with greens and mac n cheese. Every bite was so flavorful.

Food is phenomenal. The definition of soul food. Love the parking lot. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was a little "out of place" that didn't matter. They were helpful and friendly. Would recommend 10/10. Prices are can't beat as well. Cheap tasteful and filling.
