Daddy's House of Ribs

I was getting gas in Lodi, the cashier overheard I was hangry as knew I was passing through Lockford and recommended. It was so delicious!!! We got the $50 full slab of ribs, baked beans, macaroni salad, 4 corn bread muffins. I’m ordered 1 extra baked beans and banana pudding all only $62 not bad !!!for delicious food

Interesting place in the middle of nowhere (well technically a small rundown town) that's on the highway. If you happen to come here around lunch time, there are worse places for food. I'm a little disappointed with the ribs and the sauce for it. The ribs don't have the tenderness I'd come to expect in a good bbq place and the sauces is too sweet (I like sweet but I'd expect bbq sauce to be more tangy or has more kick). In any case it's not bad just not as good as the name of the place would suggest. What's cool is however they do serve lockeford hotlinks here so if you want to eat it without buying uncooked sausage home from lockeford sausage down the street, this is probably a good place to have them. Let me tell you. This place is soooo amazing. These owners know what's up. Huge portions, tender food, and some of the best smoked meat around. 🍖 Ribs are fall off the bone. Tri tip melted in your mouth. Corn bread was amazing. If you want some unique soul food that will make you hug the cook. Come to Daddy's house of ribs. Dessert, meat and sides that will make you smack yo mama.

We had an excellent experience here after a nice Moto ride. We were greeted with a warm friendly welcome in. I didn't get her name but I felt like family by the end. I didn't want to leave, I just wanted to sit there & attempt to finish my amazing food. Everything smelled so good it was hard to choose, I don't think you can go wrong, everything we had was Flavor Town amazing. We loved our tri tip & brisket sams, baked beans were bomb, mac n cheese was yummy, corn bread was tasty served with a butter pat & a real honey packet. Banana pudding was the bomb & we'll have to finish that later along with the peach cobbler as we had no room in our tummies at the time of our visit.
