What a delightful surprise! We were looking for a place to meet for dinner in an area with few restaurants, and decided to try this one on a whim. Its definitely worth the trip from wherever you are! Every dish was amazing from the seafood and corn chowder to the brownie sundae. The scallops were perfect and the vegetables served with them were wonderful (especially the carrots, but I even loved the broccoli!!!). Our server was helpful and delightful! This is one of those very few places I'd like to keep as a secret because it's tiny and so wonderful, but really, everyone deserves a meal like this ... Treat yourself!
I visited Mon Feb 9 2026 1-2 pm. I wish I remembered the names of the 2 wonderful female employees. They were so delightful, refreshingly upbeat, and 40 years younger than me. The repartee was superb. The food was great. Took a bit home with me.
This place is a hidden gem! The customer service is top notch. Every time I visit, they are always so welcoming, kind, and efficient. My girlfriend and I love the salmon entree and I love the fact that it is sushi grade. As a pescatarian, I'm always looking for a good seafood platter and love that there is a local option as good as this.
In a word - outstanding. After two visits, my new favorite restaurant - and I am quite picky. Being from central Cecil County, I have many choices for fine dining and Daddy O's is well worth the slightly longer drive. I was a little taken aback on first visit by how small the dining room is, and wondered how they could keep fresh, quality ingredients with such a small clientele. Apparently, take-out and catering are a large part of their business. Entrees were nicely nuanced, sauteed vegetables were plentiful and some of the best I have ever had. The atmosphere in the small room is quite pleasant, but bring a seat cushion. Service was top notch and very friendly. Finally, the icing on the cake - it's BYOB - you can drink your choice of libation and save a bundle.
This is a true must visit hidden gem. Recommended by a friend we decided to try the establishment upon arrival it looks like an average pizza shop and did not expect much To our surprise from the moment we entered we were greeted like we were family and seated right away by Natalie her personality was very welcoming. The service time was spot on. Natalie answered our question promptly. Olivia our server was simply amazing and very patient since we eat very healthy she took the time and had the patience while we altered the meals. After we placed the orders Natalie and Olivia both checked up on us often and refilled our drinks without asking. Well when the food came out we were blown away how well the presentation was executed from appetizers entrees and dessert. We have eaten in many 5
