I liked the experience overall. Appetizers: borsch, chicken pate, pickled vegetables and eggplant were delicious. Garlic pampushka should be more garlicky in my opinion, but that's debatable. For the main courses, the feeling was mixed. I liked my Pozharky Cutlet but not the garnish. It was sweet. Goulash meat was very tender, but also sweet. And then biff stroganoff was not what I expected at all. Meet looked like a kebab that was boiled. Honey cake and Pavlova were excellent. Olesya - our server was grace itself. I would think that they should smooth out some of the kinks, but very nice place. I will try kebabs next time.

A cozy and vibrant gem in San Francisco Dacha is one of those rare places in San Francisco where you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you step in. The atmosphere is warm and intimate — casual enough to relax, yet elegant enough to feel special. Whether you’re coming in for a full meal or just a drink, there’s a quiet sense of hospitality that makes you want to stay longer. The food is always beautifully plated — you can tell there’s thought and care behind every dish. Their interpretation of classic Eastern European flavors feels fresh, bright, and deeply satisfying. The Mimosa Salad, with its light layers and a surprising touch of crisp apple, was a standout. Every ingredient tasted fresh and seasonal, and the balance of flavors was spot on. The house-made infusions are another h

The place is not an authentic Eastern European as one might have expected based on the description. It has a cosmopolitan vibe with some Russian items on the menu. The food was ok, not great. I liked the pirozhki (tried the mushroom one and it was surprisingly interesting), but didn't like the goulash main dish. The goulash was dry, bland and overdone. It was more of a braised meat on mash of squash and sweet potato than anything close to Hungarian goulash. The chicken liver appetizer was nice but very small dish for a price. Czech pilsner canned beer was $14, which is way too much for this drink. Overall nice atmosphere, not very authentic and pricey to my opinion.

The best place in town for dining, enjoying a cocktail, having a romantic night out, or hosting an event. Big thanks to Dacha’s founders, management, and entire team for giving us an amazing opportunity to host our networking event there. We were truly showered with support, hospitality, care, and warmth. Suki and Katya — the founders of Dacha — pour their heart and soul into this place. Every corner speaks to their personal touch, creativity, and passion for bringing the best experience to the market. And we were able to feel those vibes throughout our entire event. On top of that, the cuisine is a masterpiece. The honey cake and the Nalivka are absolute must-tries.
