Da Vinci's Italian Restaurant

Stopped here while in the area, saw it was busy so figured it must be good. Very sad to say it really wasn't. Bread & Caprese appetizer were fantastic but chicken marsala (photo on right) & special of the night, another chicken dish were disgusting. They barely cooked the chicken, garlic cloves were raw & absolutely no flavor in either dish.

Top class food, atmosphere and service. We had veal, salmon and shrimp with angelhair pasta entrees. Perfect portions and taste. The Wine was an excellent accompaniment. Tiramisu afterwards also delicious. Restaurant was clean, warm and cozy. Our hostess Maria was very professional and friendly. Authentic Italian restaurant. Great price too! Hickory's gem. Will definitely return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at DaVinci! Our waitress, Valerie, was incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely attentive—she truly made us feel welcomed. We started with the calamari, and it was a 10/10—perfectly crispy and delicious. The marinara sauce being homemade made it even better. We also ordered the ribeye, which was really, really good, and the drinks were excellent as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Ordered Zuppa di pesce, a seafood entree that came with 5 mussels, 5 medium shrimp & calamari rings that were as small as Chef Boyardee pasta rings! The fettuccine noodles were stiff. Caprese appetizer needed whole basil leaves but received it with chopped herb and wish it was heirloom tomatoes instead of bland roma type. Bathroom: 3 stalls, 2 not working. Bathrooms are in between kitchen and dining area so they walk past it. Gaudy decor. Nice server. Restaurant too bright, needs it dimmer for ambiance.

Great food and friendly staff. Love the holiday cocktails and desserts. Had to try a few with friends for a surprise birthday in the private room. Real Italian food outside of NY and Italy was amazing😋 Thanks guys🙌🏾 Leonardo, Tony, Nikita, Mike, and the singer who was taking requests! Great Balls of Fire🫡
