I’m a big fan of L&L Hawaiian but I have never tried Da Valley. Decided to finally commit, was not disappointed whatsoever. Their short rib had an insanely good flavor, their Mac salad had a better flavor than competitors, and their chicken katsu was on par. The owner was really nice too. I didn’t realize there weren’t quite open and without making a fuss or even bringing it to my attention, he took my order and was polite about it. It was only once I arrived there that I noticed their hours. This place has a new regular!
Amazing place. You always know its gonna be good when it's just a humble tucked away spot. We got the spicy miso ramen and the California rolls. 1000000/10 absolutely phenomenal. Ramen was extremely flavorful and worth the price. Pork just melts in your mouth! California rolls came with a very good amount of wasabi and ginger, and they leave you needing a million more of them! You've absolutely made two new regulars out of us!
I had the pineapple chicken nuggets. They were very light and crispy. The chicken was juicy and fresh. I wish it came with more pineapple sauce though. The Cole slaw was almost like plain shredded cabbage- not much sauce at all, same with the macaroni salad. Very dry- but I come from the midwest where everything is drenched in mayo, so it's just different. My daughter had the ninja bowl and liked it. They were out of fish and potato salad on the menu. They had a continuous irritating loop of Tim McGraw songs on the TV that drove me a little crazy. But... all in all it was a decent experience.
This is my first time going to Da valley grill. It was good for the most part. There's a lot of options, so I'll definitely be going back to try more stuff. The only thing I, personally, didn't care for was the crab rangoons.. they had a sweetness to them I didn't enjoy. My son was hoping that the Philly roll had rW fish, but it had the imitation crab. It wasn't bad, but it was just different. I like the freshness of the shrimp in my chow mein (fried noodle). Also, the place was very clean, the bathroom was very clean. Overall, it was delicious and I will be going back to try the ramen and some of the other dishes.
It's like a small mom and pop shop but the food is amazing very clean and quiet seems like the owners is family i love that spent about 19 dollars
