Da Kine Diego's Insane Burrito

My wife absolutely loves this place. Whether you get the insane burrito or one of the famous gringos, you can’t go wrong. This place has been serving up good food for many years. Make sure you get the rice and beans local style, you won’t be disappointed. They have a beautiful outside area to eat, which is covered by shady tiki huts. This place is awesome. Go check them out.

Worst burritos I’ve had in a long time. 😞 The small amount of meat that was present in my burrito was over-cooked and dried out. The HUGE amount of rice was also dry and the beans were somehow undercooked. There was very little flavor and I had to drench my burrito with seasonings when I got home. I was impressed with how fast they whipped the burritos up though. I remember the days when this place was amazing. No longer. Guys come on, don’t forget Chipotle is your competitor.

Felt like we were back in Hawaii! Good food, chill, surfer vibes. I love the sauces. Wish they served beer on tap.

Fun atmosphere to be sitting outside on a nice day with lots of cool little nooks and seating options. Friendly and fast service given how many people were there. But I was actually surprised that there were so many people there because the burritos were terrible. It’s pretty much just rice and beans and like all the other reviews say, weird microwaved meat product. I got a bowl And added the pickled carrots which helped because it gave it some color and flavor, but I definitely would never eat here again. And I’m pretty liberal with my five star reviews.
