D & B Cafe

One of the worst cafes I have been to. We got stuck in Ainsworth for awhile and had a group of 8. We found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. Atmosphere: we walked in the cafe and it was roasting hot. The AC was either not on or they do not do much to cool this place. You could feel the grease almost on your skin and your clothes will definitely smell when you leave. The service: the staff was very unwelcoming. The the server hardly speaking to us, to forgetting our items we ordered, to not bringing any refills…it all was terrible. I had to ask the guy at the front to remove items from the bill that we didn’t even get. Food: the food was just downright terrible. Great little mom and pop stop for some lunch or dinner. Good prices and lunch deals. Super friendly owner, and cool family crafts you can buy as well!

This place has fast service and okay food. We have had times where the food is overdone — more often than not — and otherwise we have had occasion to not have food that is acceptable at all. One time my grandmother had a burger which had blood just pouring out of it. Completely underdone even for any standards of people who enjoy rare. My last food was well beyond burnt only because the cook was talking endlessly with a group of people for an hour. But when you do get good food you REALLY get good food...

This was a very surprising little gem of a restaurant. The prices were very cheap. The food was better than almost every place we have eaten before. There was nothing fancy about this building but the food and service were exceptional. Very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful experience. We were traveling from the Black Hills to Beatrice NE and this was one of the highlights of our trip!

It's a quaint, nice little restaurant with great prices. The cheese balls and burgers are fantastic. Only complaint is the fries aren't that great. Other than that, it's a great place to eat!
