Cơm Tấm Ninh Kiều

This restaurant has been on my list to try for a while, and I’m glad I finally had the chance to come. As a Viet living on the East Coast, it’s hard to find truly authentic Vietnamese food. I went the traditional route and ordered the bún bò Huế, egg rolls, and fried tofu stuffed with shrimp. The bún bò Huế lacked mắm tôm (iykyk), which made the broth pretty bland. The egg rolls were nice and crispy. The star of the meal, though, was definitely the fried tofu.

Definitely a hidden Gem in the Bronx! I haven’t explored much of the menu but the Pho is delicious! I go day’s craving it. I’ve had the wings, they’re very good too. Extra crunchy exterior-the wings are basically bulletproof (joking lol) the service is very mediocre, takes a while to be attended and don’t come here if you plan on not going straight home after. Your clothes will smell exactly like the kitchen, it’s my least favorite part! But back to this PHO! well worth all this other stuff.

This used to be my favorite pho spot I learned about pho here. The soup was oily and just flat out bad. I asked them to make it over cause it was just an oil filled bowl of soup. It came back weird. Never left a Bowl of pho anywhere. I couldnt finish it and left feeling with my stomach uneasy. Was so excited to put my friend onto this spot. We left soo disappointed. The spring rolls were also so greasy.

Excellent Vegan Pho! Full of veggies! Broth is flavorful but light. Service was pleasant and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed!

I’ve been coming to this place for a long time, and it used to be my favorite spot for pho and dining in. That’s why I was so disappointed by my recent experience four days ago. My boyfriend ordered the rib pho, and I ordered the spicy pho. He mentioned that the meat in his bowl was very chewy and dry at the same time, and the broth tasted strange and oily—almost like it wasn’t fresh. I started enjoying my spicy pho at first, but while I was eating, I found a cockroach in my bowl. I immediately stopped eating and felt nauseous after seeing that. That incident completely ruined the experience for me. It made me question the hygiene and cleanliness of the restaurant.
