Cushing Public Library

I've studied in many libraries in various states and this was an unusual and unpleasant carnival experience. As a student traveling to the area to see family, I needed a quiet place with reliable wi-fi to study and attend class. When I arrived, I asked if I could use a private room later for a meeting. The middle aged, white haired woman seemed surprised at such a request and said with a frown that It is only available by permission from the manager. She hesitated and said she would ask him when he comes in. I thanked her. The other woman told me they don't allow drinks. I asked about my water, and she said no because water ruins books too. I very much appreciate ALL of the staff members at Cushing Library. They are so good to my kids each time we visit. They gave me info today on many summer programs/activities that we're interested in. My kids range in age from Kindergarten-High School. I also love the way they always treat us with respect and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The Cushing Library has a nice selection of books for all ages. The only downside I noticed, is that the kids section could use some fun/interactive decor. My son is 3 and other libraries we've visited often have a fun area for children. It'd be 5 stars if that were added!
