Rude rude rude. The lady with all the face fillers tried to curse me out in languages that I understand because the food she served tasted rotten. While I would happily pay for the whole restaurants shitty food, she tried to say we didn't want to pay for the disgusting philly cheesecake we got and didn't eat. The burger was fine, the fries were fine, the philly meat was rotten. This could've been handled completely different but the lack of professionalism really set a bad tone for me. She then started talking to other customers about us and the situation like I didn't understand her... if your restaurant is failing and you're poor... just say so darling but don't treat us like we don't know what rotten meat smells like. Btw we split this and took 1 bite between us... clearly 👎🏽

We had a terrible experience here. The sandwich we ordered smelled rotten — like spoiled meat — and was completely inedible. We told the staff right away that we weren’t satisfied and didn’t want to pay for something that could make someone sick. Instead of handling it professionally, the owner started yelling and cursing at us, claiming we “ate the whole sandwich.” As you can see from the photo, the sandwich was barely touched — anyone who ate it might have ended up in the hospital. To make things worse, they even crossed out the amount on our receipt and wrote the same total back in. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This place needs to be inspected immediately — no one should be served food like that.

Curley’s for me is about community and nostalgia so it’s always my first choice when I come back home to Stamford for a visit. The food is good, service is attentive, and what I love the most are the pictures of neighborhood people when you walk in. This is my Stamford. My city has changed a lot over the years and many of the old school people are gone. Curleys is memory on a plate.

Listen, Curley’s has history and the “old” Curley’s tasted amazing. Not sure what happened over time but this place, wholeheartedly, should have just shutdown. The food tasted like old meat and chewy cheese, the wings were jelly on the inside, it was honestly heartbreaking taking bites out of this abysmal food. Left 2/3 of it because i was honestly getting nauseous. The hot sauce, it didn’t even taste like hot sauce, it tasted like they watered down tabasco sauce with vinegar and it just made the food inedible. It sucks because i was so hungry and now i’m just hoping it doesn’t leave me on the toilet all night. The latina waitress was a doll, only good thing about the trip. The place just looks like it needs to go, especially if this is the quality they are providing now. Maybe breakfast

Paulina is wonderful and very welcoming. Diana was very courteous kind and helpful. My Greek salad w/Grilled chicken was excellent, great coffee, delicious rice pudding. Open late and always safe warm and cozy.
