Curioso Coffee Bar: Uptown

I've been to Curioso twice now and have concluded they have the best espresso in the city!! Their specials are always creative and delicious, and the atmosphere/staff are always lovely. Such a great place. It's a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it!

Cozy spot. This is not a review of the espresso drinks. Unfortunately, the drip and pour over were both quite disappointing - not third wave quality. The drip was a dark roast, which I don’t like. The pourover was watery. The barista was nice about it, though at first hesitant, but eventually experimented with the pour over and tried it all and agreed that it was watery — admittedly not knowledgeable about drip. She said she’d talk to management about it, so I do hope it improves! I went down the block to Shortwave and the drip coffee was outstanding and the barista very knowledgeable!

Cool, curious coffee place. Located in what once looked like a bustling mall, this cool locale serves it hot or on ice! I really enjoyed my iced Mocha, and their branded merch. The price was a few dollars overpriced, however the quality was great! I would try it every once in awhile, think Starbucks prices with less coffee. Will come back at some point in the future. The best coffee shop located within the next 5 mile radius.

If you are looking for "real" coffee, please here! Such a cute, cozy place with genuinely delicious coffee and amazing service. I had their iced latte with vanila bean, and it was perfectly brewed – just the right balance of sweetness and richness.

Cool place to have a latte on a weekend afternoon. It’s clean, quiet, and customer service is good. Across from a bookstore and near cool thrift shops and a boba place.
