People should stop opening pizza joints in South Florida. Really. Stop. Cultura is the exception that proves the rule. Yes, it’s primarily a pizza place, but it’s one of the very few in South Florida doing actual AVPN-style Neapolitan pizza to Naples standards, not the vibes-based approximation most places serve. I should probably disclose my bias up front: I am not a Neapolitan diehard. It’s softer, it’s wetter, and it’s fundamentally a fork-and-knife pizza. And if you’re going to serve me one, I want a straight Margherita, because the more toppings you add, the more the whole thing turns into a structural engineering problem. There are some real differences here compared with other local Neapolitan spots, including places like Scuola Vecchia in Parkland, which has formal AVPN certifi
First time here and will for sure be back! Everything was amazing!!! Amazing!!! The sandwich was fresh and so delicious!!! But that Bombolone filled with Nutella! Just wow! I died and went to heaven! Everyone was so friendly and such nice atmosphere! Great to have authentic italian food in Boca Raton!
Just love trying new places, especially if they’re bakeries although sometimes I shouldn’t even try to go in cause I wanna taste everything. Everything was delicious. We had a girls lunch there today. Three of us. We had a summer salad which was delicious. We also had a flaky vegetable quiche, and we tried one of their scrumptious desserts. They actually brought us a little sample of more of their desserts delicious The pizza looks outstanding. We didn’t eat it yet, but we will be back the couple that owns a place were very helpful. Couldn’t be more accommodating. They specialize in Italian bakery and pizzas. They have a specialty making. Panettone which I never had before now that I tasted it I might have to have it again. They have two kind one with sweet and one with meat in it very imp
For those who miss true Italian crusty bread, like most northerners are use to, your quest ends here. I stopped in just to check this place out(wasn’t even hungry), however everything looked so good I decided on getting a slice of pizza and a loaf of Italian bread to go. The pizza was very good and next time I’d like to try the NY style, large round pie. The pastries look amazing and will try them next time too. Upon getting home, I tore into that bread, which was outstanding, especially with a buttery, expensive EVOO. Btw, the bread was $8 and well worth it, as it made for my afternoon meal. A slice of pizza can’t do that…..see below My only reservation (gripe) is not germane to this place specifically, as it’s the third place with this $8 price tag…..for a slice of pizza. How in the worl
Cultura South Italian Café is an absolute standout in Boca. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the passion and authenticity behind everything they do. The espresso alone is worth the trip. It instantly transported me back to Italy; rich, bold, smooth, and perfectly balanced. It’s the closest thing I’ve tasted in the U.S. to the real Italian caffè experience. One sip and you’re hooked. And their Napoli-style Margherita pizza? Remarkable. Even without a wood-fired oven, it’s better than anything I had while actually in Napoli. The crust has great texture, the tomatoes taste incredibly fresh, and the mozzarella melts into a beautiful, flavorful balance. Each bite is pure Italian comfort. The team is warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can tell they love what they do, and i
