Who puts fried chicken tenders in the chicken and shrimp carbonara? You guessed it Cubs Cafe does. Absolutely disgusting when the menu clearly said sautéed and seasoned chicken. The rest of the dish was ok but it was ruined by the chicken tenders. Ordered a hot meatloaf with mashed potato to go and they did ask if I wanted gravy. I said yes, white gravy because I assumed it was for the potatoes. Well when I inspected the food after I left, I see that they covered the entire thing with white gravy. This place has been a let down for sure.

Always get freshly prepared meals here. My favorite is the small Chicken Avocado Salad with Chipotle Dressing (shown). Husband's choice for this meal was a Hot Roast Beef Sandwich.

Food was excellent. They were very busy & service was still pretty good. It would have been 5 stars overall if our waitress had smiled and seemed a little happier to be there. Still highly recommend this restaurant.

The food tasted amazing. As always. My stepdad got fajitas and asked for flour tortillas. He got 4 really mini size tortilla (maybe 2 bites each) and when we asked for a bigger tortilla, like a burrito size, we were told no that they were for burritos only. Kind of crazy, guess next time we will bring our own.

The servers were amazing and for only having one cook in the back they put out great food very quickly. I really enjoyed the pickle fries because you can’t find them just anywhere made the right way. The place was truly like a homely cafe.
