Cubby's

I used to like Cubby’s. I used to go to a different location. The inconsistency with burgers at this location is staggering. Please train your staff. I ordered a Houdini burger with chicken. There were may be a 1 or 2 total pieces of mushrooms in it. It had barely any toppings it was supposed to have. I got a very FLAT burger with dry chicken patty and barely anything else in it. Also, their shakes are TOO liquid-y. They melt to a juice consistency within 5 minutes. This situation is completely not worth anyone’s time or especially money. Too expensive for what we have received.

I got the Gypsy burger and the flavors are amazing. I am curious if I can ask for well done and have the hamburger patty cooked through? It was pretty…. pink in the middle. Or I guess get a non meat option? It was my first time there so I didn’t know that was how the burgers are cooked.

Delicious lettuce wrapped GF sandwich called the Cockadoodledoo and a Mango salad! The restaurant was super clean. Plenty of seating.

Normally this place is good. The food good, the service friendly, etc. However today was a different story. They added a credit card surcharge, so we tried to pay with cash but the manager Josh wouldn't take our cash. He said anything over $5bill could be counterfeit. I'm not in the habit of carrying $60 of ones around. He was very rude about it and refused to give our feedback to the owners. I definitely won't be coming back to this location, which is a shame because it was convenient and tasty.

Paid to add avo to a sando and got two slices. $20 for the meal without a drink? Not worth it . Walked in to pick up and nobody was at the counter, all the workers on their phones in the open kitchen.
