Cuban VIP Cuisine

I just tried VIP Cuban Cuisine at their pop-up location, and wow—the food was phenomenal! I had the [specific dish] and every bite was bursting with flavor. The service was fantastic, even though it was a pop-up, and you can tell they pour so much love into every dish. I’ll definitely be back—this is a must-try!

I’m really disappointed. I used to enjoy this place, but the service has gone downhill. The staff taking orders are consistently short and rude, even when you’re polite. The picadillo I had recently was terrible, had no flavor, no olives, no seasoning, just plain ground beef. On top of that, they’re often out of certain menu items. I honestly don’t understand the high reviews because this is one of the least flavorful Cuban meals I’ve had in Houston. If you want better service and authentic flavor, Café Piquet on Bissonnet is a much better option. Customer service needs serious improvement. Rude attitudes toward paying customers will cost you business, especially at these prices.

I came here after hearing rave reviews about the food. I was disappointed. The picadillo was nothing more than ground beef, reminiscent of chili beef, only more bland. The customer service is also nonexistent, the workers treating me as a nuisance. I won’t be coming back.

Food is okay, not bad the tamale is really good as well but their service and attitude is really poor. They are not friendly and I can’t support a business that doesn’t treat customers well. The ladies that are there at the end of the night are straight up rude
