CT Chowder Co.

Ok seriously this place has the best lobster everything!!! Really anything on the menu that has lobster is delicious I’m sure the others are good too but I went for the lobster. I had the bisque and the lobster grilled cheese. The bisque is rich and creamy and thick and the grilled cheese was delicious.

We were traveling around the New England area looking for the best clam chowder and stopped at CT Chowder Co, and I can confidently say the CT chowder is the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. Absolute must-stop if you’re anywhere nearby. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality. I ordered the spicy tuna melt for $8.50, and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I would’ve happily paid $15 for it without hesitation. Susan at the counter was wonderful. She helped us with selections, was extremely friendly, answered questions about the area, and you could tell she truly believes in the food and the restaurant. Get a bowl of CT clam chowder…what an amazing invention! We were very hungry, grateful there was indoor seating for us and added a couple sandwiches. Both perfectly delicious and the wait for a hot made to order meal did not seem long to us. Some things cost more than I would expect, and then there’s a daily list of specials that are definitely specially low priced. This place has that regional New England seafood flavor I was craving. We were on vacation from West Coast so we wanted to eat and try new things, yet with that much food that we had leftover CT chowder to bring home. In the future, I will eat there and bring another meal for home. Nicest people there sent us home with broth clam chowder and that was also perfectly made.

Found this gem on Google maps and I just moved to the New Haven area so I was excited to check it out with my fiance. The lady who took our order was really nice and also gave me a sample of their clam chowder - definitely wanna go back to try that on a colder day! We got the crab cakes, the shrimp po boi, a lobster grilled cheese and two lemonades. Came out to like $55 but the food was delicious and the lobster was fresh. We sat outside on a breezy day and this side quest was a good way to get more familiar with the North Haven area. Highly recommend 10/10! 💚

What a gem to find just off of google maps. Nice cosy place. Happy warm staff. It was very hard to make a decision. We had lobster bisque. So many chunks of lobster meat. Seasoned very well and has great flavour Tuna tacos cooked properly was nice a fresh. The crab cake sandwich also a winner. Just down in north haven for a new washer. Very impressive little place. It is worth the trip. Go go go !!!!! We went a second time. Awesome again. Seriously the best lobster bisque. And we have had a lot. Go go go there !!!!!
