Crumpie's 11-Point Smokehouse

I judge a "smokehouse" by the simple things. So I decided on the pulled pork sandwich, fries and mustard based potato salad. BBQ sauce was delicious. Fries was hot, crispy, just how I like them. Potato salad was a little chunky, but overall not too bad. The "pulled pork" was actually "chopped" which ain't a big deal, but the texture wasn't right for me. Not in a sandwich setting. It wasn't bad, but wasn't spectacular. It was also cold, even though they just opened. So not sure what was going on there. They have other food there that looks great though, so I would definitely give it a other chance if I'm ever back in the area. The baked beans was delicious 👍🏻 Almost forgot about the smoked jalapeno poppers. They were pretty good.

Great place; really nice people and excellent food. Nice covered deck to eat outdoors and pleasant indoor dining room. Smoked chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, just right. Chopped brisket was different but very tasty. Fries perfect and nice side salad with homemade dressing. Lots of locals; always a good sign. On the list for a return visit; highly recommended!

Our food was delicious. Our server was very friendly and took excellent care of us. The atmosphere is fun and worth the drive.

Absolutely great little barbecue place! We have been passing this place for a couple years saying we need to stop next time they're open. Dang! Why did we wait so long! We came in and sat at a cozy little round vintage table surrounded by historical pictures, implements, tools, and souvenir menus. Our waitress was one of the owners who helped us decide what to try. My best judgment of a barbecue place comes from the pulled pork sandwich and that is what I ordered. She made me nervous when she described the pork as pulled and a little chopped (I don't like it chopped) but we had pork nachos as an appetizer and my worries disappeared....tri-colored tortilla chips covered in nacho cheese, tender pulled pork, perfectly balanced sweet-tangy-slightly spicy barbecue sauce (her husband's recipe),
