CROPA STATION

This was my very 1st time to this establishment & it will be my last. Although the customer service was good, overall, I was not impressed at all. The chicken was so small and hard (overcooked). I stepped outside of my norm or shall I say my regular, to try something new. For almost $40, I'm sick!! The cornbread really threw me! It didn't look like cornbread. Where was my brown top like the photos shown. To spend $40 on a meal and still be hungry is insane!! Unsatisfied is all I can say. It went to the trash.

A hidden gem in the middle of a small town, Cropa station has homemade soul food that is exceptionally delicious. Hand breaded wings, homemade potato salad and crispy and sweet hush puppies was a bargain at $15. Homemade cake by the slice was displayed on the counter and the strawberry cake was one of the best I've ever had. Tasted like it was made only hours earlier! The only suggestion would be to have house made sauces such as ranch and BBQ sauce. The hospitality met the same standard of excellence as the food. A great restaurant to visit on the way to Chincoteague. Come out and support Dale and his business!

Found Corpa Station on google while visiting UMES and glad I did. This place is 4 minutes from the campus. We ordered the fried catfish platter with yams and collard greens as well as the whiting platter with mac n cheese and fried okra. Both were delicious . Sorry for the half eaten pictures hahah! They play great music and have 4 tvs for watching your favorite sports teams. Check them out. They also offer daily activities which would probably be attractive to locals and college students

Had lunch at Cropa Station for the first time yesterday and it was fantastic! Dale greeted us in a very clean space and provided attentive service. I had the best shrimp poboy I have ever had! The shrimp was perfectly fried without too much breading, the bread was fresh and the tomato, pickles and lettuce were fresh. The sauce was soooo good! Will definitely be back!

Visited while visiting my daughter at school and Cropa Station was a pleasant surprise. Between her, my mom and myself, we collectively had fried shrimp, fried whiting, fried chicken, collard greens, green beans, Mac n cheese, onion rings and best of all YAMS!! Everything was excellent! Dale, the owner, was most personable and inviting. My mom was even serenaded with a happy birthday by another patron. It felt like family and home in Cropa Station. I can’t recommend this place enough.
