Crooked Lake Library

There is always something special about libraries: perhaps it's the welcoming, warm atmosphere, the smell of new books, or even the people you meet there. This library, for me, is one of the most special places. All of the staff is immensely kind and helpful. From finding a new favorite book to connecting you with resources, they are there to help you. There are numerous events that anyone can participate in. Some of the examples include the annual book clubs, baby storytimes, teen craft events, accessible cooking classes, and many, many more. Additionally, there is a wide range of media and resources, ranging from books to cooking utensils. Furthermore, the volunteer opportunities here are amazing. This is a nice library with very helpful people working. They have just about everything you need whether you need to print some documents or you need to use some computers because you don't have internet access at home or have a computer. That's usually nice and quiet. I've lived right near to it for a lot of years. It's a nice little community library.

Library is clean. Computers are available for card holders and guests. Staff was very pleasant and helpful to the people who asked for assistance. For a small library, I like it. Probably not good for research purposes.

Very clean and large library. I am a visitor and using a computer. The only complaint I have is the noise. Children playing and are extremely loud. Adults sitting at a table and not using "inside vouces". What happened to a library being a quiet place to study and think?
