Crivello's Italian Bistro

Crivello’s is our local Italian spot that my daughter and I love to go to for a girls day! Our server Christy is super friendly, kind and attentive. The food, well I used to be a professional chef and I’m from the east coast and this spot does the trick! Super fresh, tasty, authentic~ we love love love the calamari, bruschetta, chicken parm, octopus, desserts and I don’t know what they do to their house salad but sometimes I just crave that :) …but of course end up getting so much more. It’s delicious!

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Every time I go I’m blown away by the quality and taste of the food. Not to mention the service. Adolfo is the best waiter I’ve ever met. He remembered us, the day we came, the city we’re from and even our order when we came back a second time months later.

First visit, will not be back. Although the Ravioli was good, the Bolognese sauce was very good. But the house bread was very dry (with no offer for more), the green salad was offered with Italian dressing only (I asked) and even when I added more, it was pretty much tasteless. The table cheese was not freshly grated (maybe Kraft ?). No other drink was offered after wine was refused.

We were driving back into town and were craving italian. We have some nice places in Laguna Beach and there's always Olive Garden, but we wanted somewhere new. We Googled and found Crivello's. We weren't very original in our order I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken and my friend had it with Shrimp. I found out the Alfredo Sauce is made fresh to order, the chicken had seasoning to it. Make sure to order the side of bread, it isn't served automatically. We saved enough room for dessert and decided on the Chocolate Cake... WOW!!! It was huge and delicious, with chocolate sprinkles, so much that we took half of it home. Adolfo the server was so great. When we mentioned that it was our first time, he patiently went over the menu and specials. We were in a silly mood, he laughed at our jo
