Customer Reviews
Boys had meatballs and stuffed bread. I had the stuffed bread and a side of corn. Everyone was happy with their plates, and the stuffed bread was absolutely delicious. The bread was tender and the stuffing was rich with meat and slices of sausage. Divine. Well worth getting off the interstate for.
This is a nice lil place to pop inside or stay outside and sit at one of there tables with umbrella. Or if you perfer to go through the drive thru or they offer Door Dash for delivery. Really good food, great on the prices and you get a good amount of food. The Customer serivce is awesome, I got a lil lunch to go bag with stuff in it. So cute. I tried the Stuffed breads and yes there seasoned perfect, the bread is a melt in your mouth bread. Over all it's worth your time and money to stop by and check it out. Atmosphere inside is quite, unless it's lunch time. Your wait is not long 15 min during lunch rush , which is awesome if you ask me. I will definitely be back to try more foods. 🙂
I love patronizing mom and pop plate lunch places. Small house style location, I had the meatball fricassee and the stuffed bread. When I think of Creole Lunch I expect bold flavors. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed. As I ate the heat did build a little but as for flavor it was sort. I felt like I was eating at a retirement home cafeteria when no one can have salt. Apparently they aren’t fans of garlic either. Just bland. I was hoping to find a hidden gem but I don’t think this was my style. It wasn’t bad it just wasn’t good enough to return. Also, what kind of Creole restaurant has unsweetened tea but no southern sweet?
We had a great experience here. Stopped to grab lunch at a local family owned restaurant. We were greeted with southern hospitality and good food. The stuffed bread is a must. If you want to experience local, come here!
First créole experience and we are absolutely not disappointed!!! If you’re passing by Lafayette this is a must stop if you want to eat excellent food. The service was also great, and very affordable too. Best experience in Louisiana so far!
