Ordered Oxtail & rice/peas mid way into me eating my food I found a piece of beard hair in my food. After taking this photo I found 2 more hairs. So, dissatisfied because the flavors & food were good before I saw hair in my food. The chefs in the kitchen should wear beard masks if their beard is long. Waste of my $26 especially through DoorDash smh

Before ordering, I took the time to read the reviews and was immediately impressed by how the staff responds to critiques. I stopped eating Jamaican food years ago unless it came out of my kitchen. I was Feenin for some Jamaican food one night I was at work late. Got on door dash there was cream time. Hmmm what is this I ordered something simple because I’ve been traumatize from the food coming out of Hartford. I ordered fried chicken, rice and peas, and an order of festival. My god so simple and so delicious. I’ve probably ordered from them about 20 more times after that. The oxtail, the stew chicken, the curry goat, must o go on. This place is incredible. To the point where I had to call in and tell them how good the food was. I will soon go into this place because I need to meet the people who create this food and to just go check out the atmosphere. This restaurant deserves more than five stars. The food tastes just like real country cooking straight out of Portland, Jamaica. I’m Jamaican, so I know good food when I taste it—and this place should never be rated under five stars. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. I haven’t visited the restaurant in person yet because it’s a bit far, but I definitely plan to one day. As for delivery, everything is securely sealed—no openings, no chances for anyone to peek at or tamper with the food. Absolutely delicious. The ackee and saltfish, boiled dumpling, boiled banana, and everything else I’ve tried has been amazing. I seldom leave food reviews, but let me say this… these people can COOK!!! I always order rice and peas and fried chicken but today I ordered two patties and coco bread. The delivery arrived with the patties already tucked inside the coco bread like they knew I was tired and deserved peace. I quite literally lifted one finger… to eat. Effortless. Thoughtful. Delicious. Kudos to you all!
