Crazy Tuna Bar & Grille

Found this place randomly one day and decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. Good food and drinks, live music, good people. What more can you ask for. I tried the orange crush and run punch, each were delicious. The food was very tasty as well. I had Honey old bay wings and Rock Fish Bites. It came out hot and fresh. If you have a boat you can pull right up to the dock and grab some food and drinks. Loved the beach vibes, I will definitely be coming back.

My friend and I stopped by for Dinner yesterday. They have a nice set up outside for outdoor dining. Our server was very friendly and helpful, he made sure our drinks were full and kept coming back to make sure everything was OK, when we were getting ready to leave later in the evening their computer system went down which kind of sucked because we had to wait until their computers started working again since we couldn’t order more or pay our tab at all. The food was okay, you get big portions and their menu is not expensive at all. I got the fried calamari as an appetizer and it was really good, I also got a burger; I wish the burger meat was fresher with some seasoning. Bland and Basic We did visit on a Saturday, it was crazy busy. There was a $5 cover charge if you sat outside. There were several open tables outside but we were told that they were reserved. We were seated inside..... pointless to be near the water and have to eat inside which was the purpose of our visit. Server, Madysen was friendly and helpful. My husband had a beer and I had a Creamsicle crush.... meh 😕. We ordered rockfish bites, crab pretzel, wings, and crab egg rolls. Crab rolls was the only thing that was good but it was small 2 little egg rolls. My daughter did not enjoy her crab pretzel 🥨. It had very little crab, mostly cheese. Rock fish bites and wings needed some seasoning. I had high expectations but this place really fell short. I would rather go to Hard Yacht or Tiki Lee

We’re going to eat seafood in the Essex/middle river area. We were thinking of eating at Schultz crab house but we decided to go here since we never went here before and we really enjoyed the food. The rockfish tacos,were amazing some of the best tacos I have ever had and the Mac and cheese was also some of the best I ever had it was creamy and had a essence of crab in it also the other food was good,the service was outstanding, their was a band playing,the restaurant is on the water, And we got this whole experience for the price of an average seafood restaurant!

Edit of a former great review. This stunned us. Look at the pictures. We walked to find only three couples there sitting by the outdoor bar. We walked around the empty outside area looking to be seated or helped. No one appeared, so we walked inside to find no one in any room other that the kitchen. A server showed up, explained that she is the only person there to help everyone and that the kitchen closes at eight o’clock in twenty minutes from now. Who does this? We ordered easy fast stuff, ahi tuna and crushes and left. Will not be back. Sad.
