Crawfish X-press

Drove from Denham to go to the Hole In Da Wall. They were out of crawfish. I really wish I would've driven back hm & gotten crawfish there instead of getting them out here. We bought 12lbs. They came out hot, but we're boiled in zero spice, just straight water & bland. They were dry & had no juice whatsoever. I knew better than to get them here when there was no one there the day before Mormorial Day. I definitely would not recommend!

Way to way way way way way too much salt and a lot of crawfish were smashed up from over stirring 😕😔

Yesterday I purchased a sack of crawfish $85. The gentleman that placed them in my truck was very nice and friendly. Upon boiling the crawfish, we noticed that they were beyond hard and not worth the price. I called today, to explain the situation, not for a refund but just some other type of compensation! I was told that there was nothing to do about it, since we had already booked them and threw them away! I was also told that it is the last of the season and that’s why they are hard! If this is true, then why selll them at such expensive price and not make one aware before buying them! The girls that answered the phone, advised that their boss said we should have brought them back! I’m not crawfish expert, but at-least lower your prices for crawfish that someone won’t be able to enjoy!

I have gotten crawfish 3 times in the last month-month and a half. All 3 times the crawfish have been very beat up. I wasn’t going to go back after the 2nd time, but I really wanted crawfish today and Reno’s was closed. The crawfish has had great flavor, just they’re quality isn’t there…

Definitely one of the best ones in the area. Always seem to have them, have been relatively consistent. Only once out of 5/6 times were they over boiled and all the tails were hard to peel and mush. Seasoning is good and generally consistent.
