Crawfish Haven/Mrs. Rose's Bed and Breakfast

This was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Our kids, age 6 and 15, had a blast. Barry is a great host. We ate nothing but crawfish for 24 hours and loved every minute. Thank you Barry!! We stayed overnight, did the cooking lesson, and crawfish excursion, and the whole experience was the highlight of our trip.

Barry was great and the house and rooms were as well. We had a quick stop over in Kaplan but Barry and his bed and breakfast were a highlight of our vacation.

We stayed overnight and did the crawfish excursion the next day. Hospitality was great, made me and my husband feel welcome. Loved hearing all the history. For breakfast he made crawfish omelets. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Barry was a great host and introduced us to Cajun life. His hospitality was very good and he accommodated all our needs. Even though it wasn’t crawfish season he cooked up some from the freezer that was terrific. He is the super host. Barry also showed us videos of all the famous people that have visited his place and all the awards that he has won. The accommodations were very good and the location was great.

What a unique, authentic place to stay in the heart of Cajun Country. Our time with Barry was truly one of a kind. ||We took our kids on his Crawfish Excursion and enjoyed the fruits of our labor with a crawfish boil that evening, cooked by Barry, who is a master at Cajun cooking. ||Barry was full of information to share with our family during our stay - teaching us all about crawfish, life on the farm, Acadiana and more. He was always available to help, but gave us our space to enjoy his home as a family too.||He made us a wonderful breakfast of crawfish omelets (the kids requested just cheese on theirs, and he was happy to accommodate), local boudin and biscuits. ||Definitely stay at Crawfish Haven if you are looking to experience true agro-tourism and local hospitality!
