Cragston

We stayed at this beautiful home for a couple of nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room we stayed in was lovely- it had a view of the river and a great shower - and the outdoor space is fabulous. it was truly relaxing to sit outside drinking a glass of wine and taking in the fabulous view. Kim was a very gracious host. She shared her memories of growing up in the house with us, but also afforded us our privacy. Breakfast was ample and delicious, served elegantly at one of the outdoor tables. I enthusiastically recommend staying here if you have any reason to be in the area.

Our stay was a birthday gift for my husband and he was absolutely “Wowed”!! What a beautiful property! Our host, Kim, and her niece Mia were so warm and welcoming. We felt we were right at home! The home is lovely - comfortable furnishings and beautiful art work! Breakfast on the patio was fantastic and a great way to start our day enjoying the delicious food, coffee and the great view! The pool in the afternoon- delightful! Thank you Kim and Mia for helping to make my husband’s birthday so special!!

Overlook is a perfect example of why we love B & B visits. It is a comfortable, clean, and interesting spot. The views of the Hudson, the pool and patio, and the outdoor dining space are great. The indoor common areas are spacious and welcoming. The breakfast each morning was delicious. But we expect all those things when staying at a B & B. What makes Overlook on the Hudson special are the people. Kim and her parents are kind, hard working and efficient tending to all the details. They put their hearts into making sure all are having a relaxing and memorable time. Now, if they can only ensure that Army beats Navy…

Overlook on the Hudson B&B was a lovely place to stay while visiting Highland Falls. The well-appointed home is also very comfortable. The main attraction for us was the beautiful view of the Hudson River that guests are welcome to enjoy from the pool area and patio. We enjoyed gourmet breakfasts prepared daily by Kim. Her artistry and attention to detail were evident in each presentation. Thank you, Kim, for all you did to make our stay enjoyable! Thank you, Roxanne, for being so welcoming!

The whole place was exquisitely appointed, yet somehow comfortably welcoming and charming. Our bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom had a grand 4-poster, queen-sized bed, along with additional seating and plenty of closet space.||O-M-G! The view past the beautiful pool overlooking the Hudson River is the unique feature embodied by the name of this first-class B & B.||And breakfasts served poolside on blue china are culinary delights to start your days off right. ||You cannot find better accommodations in the Hudson Valley! I hope to stay here again when I return to reunions and other functions @ USMA, West Point.
