Craftsbury Public Library

This is a great local library. A good collection for a small town and a number of activities including story hour once a week for children. Very Good hours for a small town in Vermont. The Librarians are knowledgable and very helpful. It is quiet - and has a number of computers to use and work -on - - and its a good place to come with your laptop to get some work done away from home - and all the distractions of family, pets and chores! And it is in the picturesque town of Craftsbury - right off the Green - - so it is a pleasant drive in - and out - - I love it!

We love the Craftsbury library and visit every week with your son for story hour. The staff are so friendly and resourceful and there is a great selection of books and videos available. It’s a great place to run into neighbors and catch up on all the local news. A terrific resource for the community.

I work from home, but often need to escape the distractions of pets and house chores to actually get any work done, so I take my laptop to a library. I only recently discovered the library in Craftsbury and it has a nice work space, as well as quite a few computers available for public use. Their hours are pretty good too, so on most days I will probably opt to drive the extra 15 minutes to work here instead of the library in my town, which has limited hours and work space.

Anyone who lives or is considering moving the Craftsbury, should know that this library is one of the best things that any community has to offer! It is a hub of activity; entertainment, education, local meetings. laughter, love! The staff are knowledgeable but more, they are curious, helpful, kind and experts at what they do. The material selection is the icing on the cake! Coming to the library is a mini-vacation right in the heart of the common!
