Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My catfish and my husband's eggs were great. His eggs were cooked perfectly over-medium! The coffee was strong but fresh. The service was excellent! It was nice!

I tried their new Shepherds Pie topped with hash brown casserole topping which was delicious! Just wish there was more of the hash browns (my favorite part). The beef was tender and delicious with just enough beef gravy and veggies! It really didn't need the sour cream on top (I scraped it off). Hubs had their daily special (Turkey & Dressing) with dumplings and green beans, then we shared a Coca Cola chocolate cake (YUM)! Our server, Quinn did a great job! 👍

The food was tasty and it came out quickly. It was very very loud in the dining area. However, we felt really rushed by out waiter. I was eating, like we had just started and he came and asked if we're going to need a box. We said we might need one so he brought us a box. We thought that was odd, considering we'd been eating for about 5 minutes. Then he came back probably 2 minutes later, and we are full on eating, not even half our food is gone, we both have silverware in our hands and putting food in our mouth, and he asked if I wanted a to go cup. I told him no, I'm still eating. So he left again and came back 2 more times after that. It was so aggravating. They we're busy, there were plenty of open tables. I really don't understand why we were being rushed. He was nice, just obnoxious

Nice diner with gift shop along the Highway of Shawnee OK. It was not busy at 9am. Once seated, a service crew provided us the menu. Food ordered came fast. Has brown casserole tasted great! . Other foods tasted good . Crews and cashier were welcoming and friendly. Will go back again for lunch in the future.

LYS W. was a superior server! She introduced herself and was exceptionally personable, kind, and super responsive. The food was excellent! Service was fast and efficient and delicious.
