Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Even though we came in about an hour and 15 minutes before closing we still got wonderful service. Everyone was super nice and the food tasted amazing. We would definitely like to return here if we ever come back to the Perry fair. Two of us got the pot pie with hash browns on top. The other two got the kids meal with a cheeseburgers the last person he got chicken tenders.

As a loyal customer, I was very disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered a family bundle meal that included steak tips and chicken tenders, along with 40 oz of mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, and biscuits. I also asked for a side of sautéed onions and was told it would be an extra charge, which I agreed to. When I got home, I realized the gravy and the sautéed onions were missing. I returned to the store to get the missing items, expecting them to match a family-sized order. Instead, the worker gave me the smallest cups of gravy and onions, which was not nearly enough for a family bundle meal. This was extremely disappointing. We stopped at Cracker Barrel in Perry GA yesterday. The hostess Betty was absolutely delightful and took time to visit with us. Val our server was just as wonderful, friendly, accommodating and actually seemed to enjoy providing a great experience. It was so pleasant, upon checking out we asked to see the manager. I truly believe, when a job is well done, the staff needs the acalaids need to be expressed. The manger I believe was named James. His upbeat attitude definitely showed in the atmosphere of the store. To top it off the food was very good!

Came in about a few months back had a bad experience, wrote it off as a 1 time issue. Came in tonight and service and food was even worse. Had a waitress that knew nothing about menu. Didnt even know about about the two for 19 menu. Comes with appetizer and two entrees. Got appetizer well after we got our dinners. We had to ask for drinks multiple times. Food was either overcooked or undercooked. Biscuits were burnt and hard. Place was empty, so cant blame it on being busy. Apparently hashbrown casserole is very underdone hashbrowns about 3 bites worth. Apparently this place likes to give folks dirty to go containers. This place needs to close. Bathroom was disgusting, trash was full sinks were disgusting and floor was wet. Mentioned this and no one seems to care.

We were there around 2:30, so not busy at all. Our first server had a table of 8 and took quite a while to ask for our drink order. When we said we were ready to order, she said she didn’t have her pad and would be right back. She never came back. Eventually Clay came to our rescue and delivered excellent service for the remainder of our visit. The food was good, but lukewarm, so not great. The hash brown casserole was dry. The hash brown shepherds pie was tasty, but barely warm. The ribs were just average.
