Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel has always been a classic treat for my family and me, and today was no different. The nostalgic tastes of breakfast and southern style food leaves your belly full and tastebuds happy. My ongoing favorite has always been their buttermilk pancakes with the slight crisp on the edge and fluffy center. The true topper is the warmed syrup they give you to take it to the next level. I also always enjoy the cinnamon apples which are flavorful, warm, and a solid side. We also had the honey fried chicken with was delicious. A lot of food, so be prepared to have leftovers. The genius idea is that they put a biscuit under the chicken to soak the the flavor and juices which leaves an insanely delicious flavor on the biscuit. Stopped on the way to CT and had wife and 2 kids. Kids order burger and fries. Wife and I ordered breakfast. We finished the breakfast and then the Fries come out. Eddie said he was the manager but he really didn't seem like he wanted to give me his name. Not a good experience at all. My e instead of changing names and logos they should focus on service and customer satifaction

This last visit was exceptional , coming off the Interstate and wanting a good meal, I chose Cracker Barrel. I ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots. The Chicken was hot and juicy and was the best tasting meal I have had in months. The server also gave me two biscuits, very good meal.

Delicious eggs, pancakes, bacon and coffee in a country-retro cozy atmosphere. The country store is THE BEST- from retro toys to seasonal decor to unique and beautiful clothing and jewelry.

The service is nice and food is good with great portions.
