Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Had a great time at Cracker Barrel! I had the half chicken with rice and green beans — it was absolutely delicious, though the chicken portion was just a bit on the small side. My beautiful girlfriend went all out with a feast fit for a queen — a loaded baked potato, mac and cheese, hashbrown casserole, and loaded mashed potatoes! Everything looked and tasted amazing, but her eyes were definitely bigger than her stomach. Great food, cozy vibes, and plenty of laughs — Cracker Barrel never misses! Jesse was a great waiter that was extremely knowledgeable of the menu!!!

Unlike most Cracker Barrels, this one had exceptionally poor service and smaller portions. The waitress was not the usual friendly person - and after bringing out food, she never returned. We had to ask another waiter to bring us coffee and condiments. The food portions were much smaller than usual - see photo. Maybe the waitress was having a bad day.

Thank you Donna for your sweet hospitality. The food was great, just like some home cooked meal. I was also excited to find some childhood accessories in the front entrance area.

Came in to try the improved biscuits- Yum! Great improvement, I was happy to taste a fresh properly made biscuit. Bravo! Thanks for listening to us. Still room to improve on some other items. Service was on-point, helpful and fast. Only downside- everyone at our table who ordered sausage or hash brown casserole received room-temperature 😕 Cracker Barrel- you gotta serve the food hot! No reason for sausage or hash brown casserole to be room temp. Bathroom was clean.

I eat a CB weekly. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Biscuits were hard and flat. Most time I get sourdough bread toast to avoid crappy Biscuits. Sometimes I get lucky with the good Biscuits.
