Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Super kind and friendly to my kids and I, wait wasn't long at all on a Sunday morning!!! Staff was always checking up on us to see if we needed anything after being seated!!! Hush puppies was our favorite.

First time trying this place and we absolutely loved it! It has such a cozy countryside restaurant vibe with plenty of space. The food was delicious, though the portions were a bit on the smaller side. We ordered the Louisiana shrimp and the Rainbow Trout, both of which came with several tasty sides. The little shop attached was so cute,we couldn’t resist and ended up buying a bunch of mini shakers just for decoration!

Came here with my family to eat for Thanksgiving as we are visiting from out of town. Our food took a lot longer than expected. Grant it with it being a holiday we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked for scrambled eggs and was served whatever these are. Our server asked if I'd like any ketchup for my fries and I said yes. Next thing I know almost 15min go by and she has not come back. I had to ask another staff member to find her for us. By the the time she made it back my food was cold. I inquired about the eggs and she looked at me and indifferently said "those are scrambled eggs". So i asked for just more fries then, and told her they looked and tasted inedible. She simply said "okay" and walked off. What kind of service is that?? No asking if I'd like it remade or co

Apparently their standards for rice is cold and hard? Told the waitress that my rice wasn’t cooked all the way and I couldn’t even chew it all the way. She brought it right back out and said whoever was in the kitchen said that’s just how it is. I took a video of me snapping the rice kernels in half cause of how hard they were but I couldn’t upload. Apparently it was a manager that said it was okay to be served that way. Yall should be looking into that cause apparently undercooked food is common here according to other reviews.

Had a meal with a friend. Service was good. Didn't have to wait to be seated. The host, server, and cashiers were all very pleasant. Our food was good and very filling. They do have different meal sizes, for example you can two sides or three sides with your meal. Refills on drinks if needed. Even had leftovers to take home.
