Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

It took a bit to get a waitress. We were seated fast. Menus in hand. No waitress. Maybe 10 minutes later the one for the table next to us came over and asked if our server had shown up. No. She took care of us right away. Food came out fast. She was right on the ball. All food was good. Except the corn. No flavor. Mac and cheese. I added pepper. My steak was amazing. Chicken and dumplings is the go to food here. Waitress said an order of chicken and dumplings with 2 extra side of dumplings is a favorite. Gift shop hit me. So much cool stuff! I spent way too much on the way out! Only 3 stars on atmosphere because tables are crowded in together. Hard to move at times.

NEVER AGAIN! Our server was super sweet and she was very helpful!! However it took an hour to wait for our food after ordering! They also never offered a high chair/booster seat for my toddler? Do they not have them anymore? My friend ordered the strawberry cheesecake stuffed pancakes and the pancakes were hard and freezing cold. We understand they would cool because of the toppings but they were cold throughout… also ordered extra crispy bacon and they were rubbery and barely cooked. Idk what was going on in the kitchen but you could see them all arguing too. Probably won’t be back. Just got breakfast for take out and unfortunately received moldy, old fruit. Most (not just one piece of fruit) of them were at the bottom so I ate a few on top. Very disappointing to see and I’m already feeling sick. Won’t be back. Hate to make a post like this but would hate to see it happen to anyone else.

I normally opt for the fried chicken but decided to try the breakfast this time. All I can say is WOW!! Literally could have licked the plate. I highly recommend the French toast with eggs, a variety of meat, and the apples. Definitely the best meal I've ever had at and Cracker Barrel. 10/10. Highly recommend. 👌 It was a chilly night and the fire was crackling, made for a cozy comfortable atmosphere

The food was delicious during our visit. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The service and atmosphere were average which is to be expected for a casual chain restaurant. It's a better choice than many other chain restaurants in the area. Definitely recommend.
