We came here for thanksgiving breakfast. It was pretty busy. The waitress was great. Food was all delicious and filled us up for our trip. The biscuits were so good and perfectly soft. They didn't even need gravy they were so good. I was thankful they were open on a holiday. Great location do recommend.
Very flashy decent ascetic, the menu was very large but the food was bland the price would be spot in if the food atleast had some flavor or they used some seasoning on the main dish.
I have never had a bad experience at Cracker Barrel. The restaurant in Conway off Skyline Drive was excellent. No wait and was seated immediately. Great service and timely. We ordered the classics three entree meal and kids Mac and cheese. Food was fresh and satisfactory. We will be back!
Overall a good place to get good food. The last two times before today I got the Cajun shrimp skillet. Very good! Today I got a chicken sandwich. Also very good, however the last several times we were there the biscuits have been very inconsistent. Hard and lumpy, scorched, cold etc. kind of a small thing I guess, but come on, isn’t that what Cracker Barrel's all about? Also, it can get a bit crowded at times. Especially in the store as you are trying to breach the gauntlet of shelves overloaded with trinkets. I guess that’s okay if you like that sort of thing, but not so much for me. As I said overall a good place. Convenient access and quick when not crowded. We will continue to go there once every couple weeks or so as we have for years.
The food is good but I wish there were more a la carte options. I think many people are avoiding the biscuit and gravy and would rather have that as a choice than automatically part of every breakfast combo. However, the waitress was able to put together a breakfast plate which was perfectly satisfactory in content and price.
